Earlier this year our team at Don of all Trades Professional Home Maintenance Services, was contacted by a friend and local business owner Sandra Howlett of Apple Melon Designs. Sandra needed some help to create a special dog house to be used as part of a fun game at her second annual Bark in the Park Event, a festival celebrating pets and the people who love them.
Sandra sent us the information and design ideas including measurements.
Our team members at Don of All Trades were not only honoured to be included to participate in this special project, we were also very excited to be part of such a great cause!
Our very special dog house is now completed and will be holding something very special inside at the Bark in the Park Event Bowmanville 2016 on Saturday August 27 & Sunday August 28th, 2016. We can’t wait to see the end results once Sandra adds her finishing design touches!
What we used to complete this dog house project below.
- 4 White knotted Pine 16X7 inch boards
- 4 Pine knobs for legs
- 2 Spring Hinge for door
- 1 Everbilt Brass Laiton Latch for door lock
- Continuous Hinge screws
- 1 bottle of Le Page wood glue
- Dowle and wood screws
