September Helping Hands Women’s Lunch benefiting Herizon House-Huge Success!!!

September 12, 2015 Helping Hands Women’s Lunch Event benefiting Herizon House-Don of All Trades Professional Home Maintenance Services

Yolanda D’Orazio,  founder and volunteer coordinator of the Don Of All Trades Building Trees of Hope Program hosted a small Women Lunch  in aid of Herizon House Women’s Shelter-a not-for-profit, charitable organization that provides a place of safety where women and children will feel accepted, supported and empowered as they move towards living their lives free of violence in Durham Region.

This was a perfect opportunity for Women in Business to get together, have fun, connect, share, show support and enjoy good food and conversation while making a contribution to our Helping Hands Building Trees of Hope program benefiting Herizon House.

On behalf of our team here at Don Of All Trades Professional Home Maintenance Services, we would like to thank these powerful and inspiring business women who helped this month’s Helping Hands Women’s Lunch event a huge success!

Vegetable side dishes served: Italian peas, grilled marinated eggplant, zucchini, sweet red bell peppers, onions and Italian salad.

Main course: Balsamic roasted pork loin.

We also wanted to send out a thank you to Sales Repreststive George Zois from Island Heritage Realty who generously donated blankets and toiletries in support of our event benefiting Herizon House.

We collected 27 pillows, 5 fleece throws, 10 boxes of toothpaste, 8 toothbrushes, 6 bars of soap and a $30 cash donation at this month’s event. We could not have done this alone. Thank you ladies!
